The special effects genius created some of the most indelible and iconic cinematic characters of all time. He made movies a hundred times cooler and it’s a damn shame to know he’s gone. He’ll never be forgotten, though. What a legacy he leaves.

Legendary actor and pro-gun lobbyist Charlton Heston has died at the age of 206. To honour his passing the NRA are expected to fire a six gun salute with automatic machine guns, ground-to-air missiles and several bazookas.
